Surgical Services

Our surgical team provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures, including, but not limited to spay/neuter, exploratory surgeries (such as foreign body retrieval), bladder stone removal, c-sections, and mass removals. *Merrill Animal Clinic requires an exam with a veterinarian prior to giving an estimate for non-routine surgeries.

Anesthesia and Pain Management:
We use the safest available anesthetic agents to provide an extra margin of safety. Throughout the procedure and during recovering we monitor respiratory rate, pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen level within the blood to ensure the safest, consistent use of the minimum level of anesthetic necessary. We use an integrated approach to pain control, addressing each individual patient’s needs before, during, and after the procedure.
