Meet Our Doctors

  • Dr.
    Kelly Labinsky

Dr. Labinsky joined the MAC family in June of 2014 as Dr. Cuthbert. She graduated with her doctorate from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and is a full-hearted Gator.  She met her husband, Mike at UF and married in March of 2018. She is interested in preventative medicine and soft tissue surgery.

In her free time, she enjoys paddle boarding, kayaking, scuba diving and cheering on the GATORS!    She has five lovable cats, Nala, Kira, Roxy, Little Man, and Rafiki and a spunky golden retriever, Brantley!

Her professional memberships include American Veterinary Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association and Jacksonville Veterinary Medical Society.

  • Dr.
    Beth VanCleve

Dr. VanCleve started working at Merrill Animal Clinic in September of 2008. Prior to that, she worked at Southside Animal Clinic, Northside Animal Hopsital, Briar Patch Animal Clinic in Ithaca, NY, and Parkway Animal Hospital. She graduated from Episcopal High School in 1976. She acquired her BA at Princeton University in 1980 and became a DVM at the University of Florida in 1986. Then in 1999 Dr. Van Cleve graduated from the University of North Florida with her masters degree in Education.

Dr. Van Cleve and her Husband, Dr. Alan Weldon have several children. Their daughters are Sarah, Dani, and Polly. And their sons are Murphy and Mac. They share their home with a plethora of animals: dogs, cats, and they also have salamander, 3 gerbils and 5 chickens. In her spare time, Dr. Van Cleve is an avid reader, practices yoga, hikes, and gardens.

  • Dr.
    Jeff Woods

Dr. Woods is a University of Florida graduate and founded Merrill Animal Clinic in January of 1988. The clinic was originally Merrill-Townsend Animal Clinic but after moving the clinic to its current location it was renamed in 1998.

His wife, Carolyn, his two grown children, Madelyn and Hiatt, his cats Abner and Pipper, and his dog, Dolly, compromise his out-of-clinic universe, but his family extends to his entire staff at Merrill Animal Clinic.

Dr. Woods follows the Florida Gators and Jacksonville Jaguars, is an avid fisherman and tennis player, and loves his woodworking to round out his time out of the clinic.

  • Dr.
    Cathy Rogaski

Dr. Rogaski is a 2008 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, and has been a member of the Merrill Animal Clinic family since June of 2008.  She has special interests in preventative care, behavior, and alternative medicine.  Dr. Rogaski believes that there are many different ways to treat disease; she received her certification in veterinary acupuncture in December of 2008. If it’s football season, you’ll often find her in Tallahassee cheering on her undergrad alma mater, FSU, or at the stadium downtown, supporting the Jaguars (Duuuuval!). When she's not caring for her patients at the clinic, she enjoys traveling, boating, and off-roading her Jeep with her husband, Stan. She also shares her home with her two fun-loving Goldens, Sophie and Tessa.

Her professional memberships include: American Veterinary Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, Jacksonville Veterinary Medical Society.
